Working in our studio or your workplace, we will photograph a collection of head shots for you to use for professional profiles and bios, or employment websites like LinkedIn.
Let us capture your professional best.
After choosing a shoot location, we will visit it ahead of time to design a shoot plan. Then we'll spend time walking with you through the site asking questions.
Family, groups, and children are our specialty.
Whether we're working from a list of must-haves you created or drawing on our experience, we'll make sure we get the perfect shot every time. We can capture the moments we know you'll want so your event is perfectly preserved.
Johnette Iris Stubbs started her photography journey at age 11. Inspired by her brother’s gift of a 35mm camera, Johnette began using photography as a tool to document her environment. As a young African American woman living in the US, Central America, Europe, South America, the Middle East, South Asia, and now again in Africa, Johnette has had incredible opportunities to witness some of both the beauty and the difficulties the world has to offer.
Johnette’s portraiture work is both artistic and commercial. She does documentary exhibitions, editorial work for magazines, event photography and studio portraits. Her formal training in photography comes from a Masters in Fine Arts from the International Center of Photography in New York. She began exhibiting in 2000 and has had shows in museums and galleries across the United States, the Middle East, South Asia and Africa. Johnette has regular group and solo exhibitions, slideshow presentations, and publishes in magazines and on the web.
Over the years, her work began shaping into portraiture studies of the times and places surrounding her. Johnette’s work tends to focus on the intertwining cultural and social aspects of work, religion, art, music, and dance in places with social crisis caused by relationships, poverty, war, and health. Despite the often serious nature of her focus, Johnette is able to bring out a richness in her images that dignifies her subjects as well as communicates her perspective on the state of other’s lives. Johnette’s intention is to create a double impact on her audience, both emotionally and aesthetically.
